Butter Pecan Ice Cream
Ingredients:
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups half-and-half cream
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:

Put a small skillet over medium heat, cook the pecans in butter until lightly brown and smells good, stir constanly for about 3 to 5 minutes. Then set aside

Whisk eggs in a mixing bowl; then set it aside. Combine brown sugar and half and half in a sauce pan and start mixing.Mix well.

bring it to boil over medium heat. Then remove.

Combine the hot mixture with the eggs and whisk it nonstop until well mixed.

Pour the custard in the saucepan and turn to medium heat. Stir it occasionally until it has thickened, (or the mixture gets stuck on the spoon.)

Turn of the heat and combine the cream, pecans, and vanilla.

Pour this mixture into your ice cream maker and freeze according the directions of the product
