Butter Cookies

Ingredients:
1 cup of butter

1 cup of white sugar

1 egg

2 2/3 cups of all- purpose flour

1/4 of teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons of vanilla extract


Directions:
  1. In a large bowl, mix the butter and white sugar until it becomeslight and fluffy. Stir in the egg and the vanilla extract. Combine the flour and salt, stir into the mixture. After that cover the dough with a plastic wrap for at least an hour in room tempeture.
  2. Prepare the cookie sheet
  3. Prepare the oven to 400 degrees Farenheit (200 degrees Celius).
  4. Roll the dough into a long piece of dough and cut the dough into pieces about 1 inch to 1 1/2 inch apart.
  5. place on the cookie sheet
  6. Bake it for about 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown in the sides
  7. Remove the wire rack from the oven and let it cool down
